One of the things I love about traveling is all the photo references I bring back home and use as a building block for a painting. These flowers were from Monet's Giverny Garden. I truly can say this is a mix media painting. I started with Daniel Smith watercolors, then used my Derwent inktense colored pencils and finished the painting with some touches of gouache.
