I was on YouTube the other day and came across a demo by Susan Schewee painting an easy butterfly. About 12 years ago I had taken a week long watercolor workshop with Susan up in Portland, Oregon. She made painting look so easy. It was a wonderful week of painting and meeting new people. I came away with the attitude that I could paint and a new set of tools. So it was a pleasant surprise to find her YouTube videos. So I thought I'd give it a try. It took several attempts but I finally was satisfied with this blue and orange butterfly.
