Coptic binding

With today's technology it is so cool to be able to go to You Tube and find a tutorial on any subject you would like to learn.  In this case I found a video on how to do a Coptic binding.  I used this video

So at 10pm I decided to try to make a journal and bind it using the Coptic binding method.  Sorry about the photos...it was a little dark in my studio.  Once I got the hang of it, the sewing part was really easy.

I'm still on the fence about this binding method.
