I did two more sketches of lighthouses. I'm trying to use more stippling,cross hatching,and lines to show where the lighthouse is in the shadows. These are both 4"x 6", in my moleskin, using Faber-Castell polychromos colored pencils. What I'm trying to achieve with these quick sketches, trying to work looser and use less detail. I think that has been what part of my hang up has been with sketching buildings. Trying to put too much detail and getting frustrated in the processes. I like the idea of less is better.
